While Dr. Robert Cochrane is still the host, this special Jam put on by PMD Alliance is run by the people in the PD community who have learned to play it over the last several years and are now starting to lead groups of their own! Do you have a favorite improv game? Bring it and practice your leadership skills as we play together. These remain simple yet challenging games that lead to improvements in communication, creativity and confidence. This program was developed as part of a PhD program by Dr. Cochrane. There is absolutely no experience required and we emphasize play over performance. No jokes, no spotlights, no "hey look at me". This is an evidence-based practice offering real quality of life improvements. YAX is proud to partner with the Parkinson's Movement Disorder Alliance. We look forward to seeing you there!
